Conclusion -forgery, hoax? - It is concluded that Marco’s

publications is hoax and
immediately debunked after
his death. Entitling him as a
fraud for hist false history.
1. What techniques did Scott employ in examining the historical sources in
question?

- William Henry Scott was known to be an overachiever in his school. Moreover,

he conducted a study and intensive researched prior to Pre-Hispanic sources for
the study of Philippine History. This is when he realized the wrongful historical
information that has been provided by Marco. In my defense, intensive
researching is really a gateway to prove the astonishing findings of Marco. The
preliminary basis of how Scott employed his source of criticsm to authentify that
the Code of Kalantiaw reflects in his findings. Therefore, I have come to the
conclusion that Scott used Authenticity to debunk the historical findings of Marco.

2. What did he find out?

- Throughout Scott’s researching and examinations, he immediately found out that

the fabrication is indeed fraud, due to hours of studying, the Pre-Hispanic
sources for the study of Philippine History. William immediately exposed that
Kalantiaw indeed did not have an impact to the society. Despite Scott’s concrete
thesis, a lot of people challenged the information that was provided by him.
However, historians actually disregarded the Kalantiaw way back when Scott
doesn’t even have his research. Years later, his research subsequently
convinced a lot of historians to discredit Kalantiaw due to lack of information and
evidence.
