Transfer Posting Storage location to storage location – One – Step

Movement type

It describes the type of stock posting in inventory. It represents whether the posting in stock is
against goods receipt or goods issue.

The important movement types in SAP MM are as follows;

1. 101 − Goods receipt for purchase order or order.

2. 103 − Goods receipt for purchase order into GR blocked stock.
3. 201 − Goods issue for a cost center.
4. 261 − Goods issue for an order
5. 301 − Transfer posting plant to plant in one step
6. 303 - Transfer posting plant to plant in two steps –Remove from storage
7. 305 − Transfer posting plant to plant in two steps - place in storage
8. 311 − Transfer posting storage location to storage location in one step
9. 313 − Stock transfer storage locations to storage location in two steps - removal
from storage.
10. 343 - Transfer posting blocked stock to Unrestricted stock
11. 344 - Transfer posting blocked stock to Unrestricted Stock-Reversal
12. 349 – Transfer posting blocked stock to Quality Inspection stock
13. 350- Transfer posting blocked stock to Quality Inspection stock -Reversal
14. 321- Transfer Quality Inspection stock to Unrestricted stock
15. 322-TrTransfer Quality Inspection stock to Unrestricted stock-Reversal

1. We order 100 CAR of Coffee Mate-[your Plant No.] for plant
[Enter your plant No.] and receive the material in COFF storage
Location.

2. Check Stock overview [MMBE] in order to see how much of this

material we have in stock.

3. Then, receive the material [100 CAR] in MIGO against PO No.

[Good Receipt].

4. Check the inventory level again [MMBE] to make sure the QTY of
material has been increased for COFF storage location.

5. Transfer ONLY 50 CAR of Coffee Mate from COFF storage

location to RAW storage location.

6. As last step, you need to check again the inventory level [MMBE]
to ensure that QTY of material for RAW storage location has
increased to 50 CAR.
Transfer Posting Storage location to storage location – Two – Step

1. We remove 10 CAR of Coffee Mate from storage location COFF.

2. We check the inventory level [MMBE].
3. We need to place in storage location BAKE, after two days.
4. Then, we check again the inventory level [MMBE]

4) MIGO – Place in storage

After two days, the truck arrived in BAKE storage location
