The genre that is shown is a twitter thread and the topic is about the newly

released album, “Donda” by the one and only, Kanye West. The audience includes his new fans,

old fans, Drake fans, Christian fans and the twitter thread consists of the moral support for Kanye

West by showing interest in the route he took when creating the album. A girl named Dedee

tweeted out “Donda by Kanye West is Kanye’s most exciting project since Yeezus. He honors

his mother by combining ideas from each era of his career. He took a huge risk by not sticking to

an exact sound. This is not a project I’ll play every day, but it’s one that I can appreciate.” The

route that Kanye took was that when he first started out his rapping career, he stuck with his go-

to music genre hip hop/rap and soon started evolving into rock and Christian music. Although

some fans didn’t expect the musical choice he made, but there was some appreciation shown for

the risk he was taking.

really loves his mom, this love was the driving force behind this album. He turned that energy

and love into a beautiful piece of music, a nearly perfect celebration of the life she lead.” The
