The Burmese novel “Mee” was written by Kyi Aye who was very
famous in 19th century. It is written about a lady who has an intriguing
personality. She is trying to throw herself in the dreadful life. The
setting, the way they talk, the dress they wear are based on the 19 th
century.
Although “Mee” was a mysterious lady with destitute affection
and deeply smoker, she induced most of the rich gentlemen and
officers in the town. No men could stand the beauty of “Mee” and most
of the wealthy men wanted to occupy her, but no one could try to get
her.Then she married the man who fell in love deeply her so much, but
