A bear called paddington

Mr.and Mrs. Brown first met Paddington bear at Paddington station. The Browns were there to meet their
daughter Judy who was coming home from school. He was named after the name of the station. There
was a warm summer day and the station was crowded. Mr. Brown saw the bear first near the bicycle rack
and it was wearing a funny hat. At first Mrs. Brown didn't believe him but soon she saw the bear too. He
wore a hat with an odd brim.
When he saw Mrs. Brown looking at him, he raised his hat and said good afternoon. The the bear asked if
he could help Mrs. Brown and she asked if she could help the bear. Paddington told her that he was a
rare bear and that he was a stowaway from the darkest Peru. Mrs. Brown thought he was rather small.
Paddington bear had left his aunt Lucy when retired in Peru and had emigrated to England. And Lucy had
taught him how to speak English because she had always wanted him to emigrate.
Paddington told Mrs. Brown that he had eaten marmalade during the trip. There was a label on his
luggage saying. Look after this bear. The she asked her husband Henry if Paddington could stay in their
house in London was such a large place. So Henry Brown invited Paddington to that house. Mrs. Brown
thought that he would be good company with Judy and Jonathan and equally marmalade every morning
and honey on Sunday. It was going to be free. Since he had a Peruvian name that no one could
understand, this is Brown named him Paddington after the station. the Mr. Brown took Paddington to tea
before judys train came. The Mrs. Brown told Mr. Brown to take off the luggage tag.

In the café Paddington try to eat the leftover bun, but the waitress swept it away because she said we
don't know where it's been. She brought him 2 cups of tea and pastries. Mr. Brown poured Paddington's
key into a saucer because Paddington said he couldn't drink out of a cup because they said would get
stuck or his hat would soak in the Tea and make it great taste weird. There suddenly Paddington stood up
on the table and began to eat the giant sticky bun. Everybody began to stare. Mrs. Brown was mad but
Judy was excited that Paddington would stay with them. Paddington suddenly saw Judy and jumped up to
raise his hat. He slipped on strawberry jam on the table and fell into his saucer of tea and then fell into Mr.
Brown's cup of tea. Judy thought it was funny. Paddington was covered in cream and jam. The waitress
was getting mad so they all left. Paddington told Judy that things always happen to him and he would tell
her all about South America. Mr. Brown quickly found a taxi before the waitress could scold them but the
taxi driver said that sticky bears would cost extra. Mr. Brown said that the bear was sticky because he
had an accident. The taxi driver was very proud of his clean taxi. Paddington stood behind the driver so
he could look out. Everybody was very friendly and waved at Paddington. Paddington puts his paw on
the driver's coat on the drivers coat and tells him the address 32-windsor gardens. The driver is mad that
Paddington got cream on his new jacket. Paddington try to clean them up and gotten even more messy.
This is Brown said it was time to give him a bath by Paddington liked being covered in jam and cream.
Soon they arrived at the green door off the Brown's house. The taxi driver began to argue with the
Brown's and judy took that they are inside and told him that he would have to meet Mrs. Byrd who look
after all of them.

Mrs. Byrd opens the front door and Paddington politely raises his hat. Judy stated that Paddington was
going to live with them and this is the thought that he was very polite. Judy asked how her rheumatism
was an Mrs. Byrd said that it was still bad. Mrs. Bird said that she did not know Paddington bear was
visiting and soul she had not put clean sheets in the guest room but since Paddington was dirty or that
was just as well. Paddington told her that he had an accident with a bun and he was going to take a bath.
Mrs. Judy told Paddington that this is Byrd liked him. Paddington said he thought she looked fierce. This
is Byrd asked him where he came from and when Paddington said he came from darkest peru she said
she would give him marmalade. See said Judy she likes you and Mrs. Byrd knows everything about
everything. Judy takes Paddington to her old room which had a lot of pictures of bears when she was
small so she thought she would like it there. Paddington and over and surprised because the room was
so big. He said he was a small bear and so have very few things. Judy said she would send him shopping
with mommy. Paddington said all he had left was a seaweed smelling marmalade jar a scrapbook and
some centavos that are the South American penny. Judy said that the that centavos were bright and
Paddington said he polished them and never spent them. He pulled out a photograph of his aunt Lucy
taken just before she went to the retirement home for bears in Lima. Judy said she looked nice and wise.
She told him about how to take a bath and the hot water In the cold water tap. Paddington said it sounded
complicated and all he wanted was to sit in a puddle. Judy told him to wash his ear.
