MATH 111 - A study of functions that begins with definition and progresses to the use
of functions in all forms to mimic the real world. Intermediate Algebra is required for
the student. MATH111 is a four-credit class.
MATH 121(O) - This course offers an introduction to calculus, namely functions and
their limits as they apply to derivatives and integrals. Continuity of functions,
differentiation techniques and applications (related rates, graphing, and optimization),
and rudimentary integration techniques and applications are among the topics covered.
These concepts are used to calculate algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, and
logarithmic functions.
