Are you interested in hosting a Temple and Family Portrait Class or already have one scheduled?

The Details...
There is a minimum requirement of $500 in orders to host a class. These fun Temple Portrait and Family Portrait projects take 2-3
hours to complete, and can be done by beginning to experienced crafters. The pictures are a 26" x 32" finished size, and the cost is
$53.00 (+ travel fee if applicable) for either project. Included in the cost of your kit is my assistance for 2 1/2-3 hours. This is a
hands-on class so people will need to be present, this is not something that can be assembled at home easily. In order to finish
while I’m there, everyone will need to be on time. People can do as many projects as they want during the class but if they have
more than 2 projects they will need to bring a helper to make sure they will finish on time. (1 Project=1 Portrait/Clock Kit or 3
Picture Plaques) Family Portrait Kits come with your choice of 2 vinyl accents and 1 of 4 mat options to use with your personal 11”
x 14” family picture, which needs to be brought to class. Additional pieces of vinyl are $6.50. Vinyl can also be placed on temple
pictures, but is not included in the cost of that kit and needs to be ordered separately. Vinyl comes in black or chocolate brown.
Clock Kits are $48.02 with a finished size of 25” x 25”. They come with your choice of color clock. As additional options you can add
a vinyl center, vinyl corners or upgraded frame. All vinyl for the clocks come in black. Greg Olsen Plaques come with your choice of
1 of 5 Greg Olsen prints. You bring your own 11” x 14” or 12” x 12” for the Picture Plaques. It will be cut down to approx. 11” x 11” at
the class. Pictures for the Family Portrait Kit and the Picture Plaques need to be printed at a photo lab, not on a home computer,
and they need to be unmounted. As a hostess you have the option, and are greatly encouraged, to check-out a sample portrait
from me. The images of the portrait online do not do the actual portrait justice. It has been proven that when people see the actual
product, class sizes go up. To check-out a sample portrait you will need to make a check out to Poppy Seed Projects for $75.00 in
exchange for the portrait. You will be able to check-out a portrait for up to 2 weeks. Upon submitting your class order and returning
the sample portrait in good condition you will receive your check back.

The Orders...
As the hostess, you are responsible for collecting all payments/orders. After you choose an available date for your class I will put
you on the calendar and email you an invitation to the Hostess Center on the website where you can download the Class Flyer and
the Sign-Up Sheets. Orders and payments are due to me two weeks in advance of your class date. This is so your order can be
submitted to the warehouse and the kits cut and assembled for your class. Class participants will pay you directly at the time they
place their order (all checks should be made out to you). Once you are done receiving orders for your class, you will give the total
order information to me, along with one total check made out to Poppy Seed Projects. Once your order is submitted, your class will
be CLOSED to additional orders. Please be aware that occasionally people outside of your class orders may attend your class.

The Benefits...
As a thank you for hosting a class, once your class reaches $500 in total orders, you get 10% of the total sales to be put towards
your own projects (portrait kit, clock kit, picture plaque, vinyl, etc.) Additionally, each month there is a hostess incentive that you will
also receive as a FREE gift. *Due to LDS Church Policy, if you are hosting a class for a church sponsored event (Relief
Society Activity, Super Saturday, etc.) you are not eligible for hostess benefits. If approved by your church leader you will
be given 1 free portrait kit of your choice.

The Setup...
I will bring all of the supplies needed to make the projects. You will need to provide a large indoor space for people to complete
their projects in. Church buildings work great but make sure you get permission. You will also need to supply tables set-up with
plastic table coverings, and an area to wash a couple of rollers. Tables need to be set up by the time I arrive. I will arrive 15-30
minutes early to set up my area. The class will take 2-3 hours depending on the size of the class. If you are planning on having
dinner/refreshments or other crafts or activities they will need to be done before or after the class. Also, people should wear clothes
they can paint and work in.
