 Remember this is the kind of drawing you

did?
 Is it to proportion and perspective?
1 & 2 Point Perspective
What is Perspective
Drawing?
 A technique of drawing objects in
three dimensions.
 Makes drawing realistic and
visually appealing to the human
eye.
 Use to represent depth and space.
How Points of Perspective
are there?

 There are three different points of

perspective that can be found and
seen.
 They are 1 point perspective, 2
point perspective and 3 point
perspective.
1 Point Perspective
 All the vanishing points in the images converge at a
single location on the horizon of each photo.

Exercise 1

Lets do it together step by

step!
Don’t worry just raise your
hands if you need help!
What is Horizon and
Vanishing Point?

Horizon Vanishing
point
Step 1: Draw the horizon
line.
Step 2: Choose a
vanishing
point.
Step 3: Draw in
perspective
lines.
Step 4: Connect the
lines.
Step 5: Form the front
of the perspective
object.
Now try adding a roof
on your own!
Did you use the right
technique?
Exercise 2

Now on your own, using the same

vanishing point, create 1 cube above
the “horizon line” and another cube
below the “horizon line” line.
Can YOU see the Difference??
