The wave of protests in the United States and the world over the death of George Floyd are
becoming stronger and more aggressive. Racial oppression, still very present in our times, sparked
outrage accumulated over decades of racist offenses. Claims for justice and enough racism are
heard all over the world in the face of one of the cruelest cases of abuse of authority in recent
times. This is his story:

George Floyd was a man with a past that he himself did not want to remember, but that with a
great change in his life, he became a man attached to his religion and well loved by the entire
community, Floyd in 2004 was in the world of hip hop and related to the wrong people, ending in
his first arrest for a drug transaction in which he was related, he also had a second arrest for
armed robbery, in this case he was captured at the place of the facts, these two arrests had him in
prison for a period of 8 and 5 years respectively.

After leaving his second arrest, Floyd had a 180 ° change, in which he got over his problems, and
became a person totally free of drugs and legal inconveniences, and he decides that he wouldn´t
come back to that world he began to attend a Christian church and seek company of Jesus in his
life, he also began looking for legal jobs as security personnel due to his large size and physical
ability.

In his new jobs as nightclub security personnel, he began to meet people who had illicit
businesses, but Floyd always tried not to interact much with them although he could not avoid
having relationships with them due to how these establishments behave in the world today, so he
tried carry on his work in the most normal way as possible. In one moment Floyd had financial
problems and needed money to meet his expenses and began to receive bribes from these people
for privileges within the clubs, he also began to provide security services to these people in a more
personal way in exchange for a large amount of money.

Floyd on his days off tried to share time with his old friends by conducting meetings or walks
around the city, what Floyd did not imagine is that one of these meetings would be his last trip.

In one of the usual meetings with his friends Floyd invited everyone to come to his church to do
community hours, since Floyd always went to his church to provide his community services and
that day the church there was a large event in where they needed help from many more people
than usual.

On the way to church Floyd got hungry and they decided to stop at the favorite restaurant when
they were at school, this restaurant is preferred by athletes in the city due to the large portions of
food and since Floyd was a soccer player at school American always ate in this place after every
work out or game day, in addition to being a frequent customer, Floyd also provided his security
services in this restaurant, so they gave him special prices in that place.
When they come in at the restaurant, they saw that the usual restaurant staff was not due to a
commitment they had and that day there were other people that Floyd did not know in the
restaurant.

He and his friends shared in said restaurant, but when the time came for the account they did not
get any discount and they did not have enough money to pay, when he saw the situation he had to
put out money from the wallet that clients of the clubs and tried to pay with that money, which
was a serious mistake, Floyd never used this money since he tried to save it for a car, but due to
the situation he was forced to use it, without thinking that the money came from people who have
businesses illegal and did not have the problems that this ticket would bring.

When Floyd tried to pay the restaurant order with this money, he realized that the serial number
was on a list of police money from a bank robbery, and the manager, not knowing Floyd,
immediately he told on to the police.

Seeing the situation, the giant tried to repair it by taking another bill from his wallet, but the
manager had already called the police and was on his way, since the manager, seeing that he was
a person of color, totally distrusted Floyd and preferred to call the There was a serious problem of
racism in the police and in the city where they were, and all white people rejected people of color.

When the police arrived they attacked Floyd without listening to him, they simply went to attack
him and immobilize him, unfortunately for Floyd this was not a simple arrest as he had already
lived, since the police at the time of immobilizing him suffocated him and little by little he looked
like the Floyd's cries for mercy and help were dwindling until he could take it no longer, and he
gave up.

His friends and the people who were in the place could not act to rescue him because the other
person was a police , but they didn´t look away, so they did the only thing in their hands to help
him, record a video in which the act of abuse of power was appreciated.

This video and this story reached all corners of the world, reaching the depths of each of the
hearts of people, generating after this the union of thousands and millions of people who fight
against police abuse, discrimination, and especially that they fight against racism, a thought in
which the full 21st century should be buried and forgotten, but that there are people with power
who do not consider everyone to be equal, and we call for equality, regardless of sex, nationality,
complexion, skin color, or religion, each should be treated as what each of them is, as human
beings.
