A. Stategic management, tactical management and operational management are levels of information
used in organizations.

B. Operational mangeanment uses the transaction processing system, tactical management uses the
management information system and strategic management system uses the decision support system.

C. In operational management people follow given rules and they don't have the power to make
decisions or adjustments to the status quo. It is structured because of the complex and meaningful
information used at this level. Strategic management is the part of the organization that has the most
power and they are concerned with the future of the establishment. It is unstructured because and does
not have any set of rules to follow and it depends on analysing situations.

A. The characteristics are input, processing, output and storage.

C. The importance of input is it is a source for a machine that gives some instructions on what it has to
do. Output devices translate the response from the computer in the form of a visual response.

C. The difference between manual testing and automated is that manual testing is carried out by human
whereas automated testing is the testing performed by the software in an automated way. Automated
testing provides high accuracy and reliability as compared to manual testing.

D. The benefits of automated processing are increased productivity because reduced operating costs
because less people you have to pay. Reduced likelihood of error because it has less human errors. Faster
execution of tasks because the automated process is more efficient at completing tasks.

E. Manuel processing creates jobs and it is more accurate for certain tasks.
