Content of Synopsis

1. Title of the Research Project: Title of the Project should be clearly defined and
should be specific.

2. Introduction( 1-2 Pages) : It includes Brief Introductory information related to the study
which develops conceptual frame work

3. Rationale of the Study: This Point includes reasons or justifications for the question that
Why the study is needed?

4. Objective(s) of the Study: Clearly defined objectives of the proposed Study

5. Literature Review: This Point includes Review of the work carried out by other researcher
in similar area or related area.(findings from previous academic research studies in the topic
under study)

6. Research Methodology:

 Research Type
 Population
 Sample Size
 Sampling Method
 Tools for data collection
 Tools for data analysis

7. Expected Outcomes: This Point includes expected result of the study.

8. References: References should be written in APA Style.

Paper & Typing dimension: Milk white papers which do not deteriorate rapidly are to be used.
The paper must be with informally even edges. The report should be typed in one side of the paper
only. Whole of the report (expect the cover page) should be typed in Times New Roman font size of
12, justified and a line spacing of 1.5 left ,Margin 3 cm, Right margin 2 cm. Top margin 2.5 cm and
Bottom margin 3.5 cm to be maintained. In case of mathematical expressions equation editor is to
be used.
