Types of Employee Benefits. Benefits are any perks offered to


employees in addition to salary. The most common benefits are
medical, disability, and life insurance; retirement benefits; paid time
off; and fringe benefits.

 Attractive compensation package


Compensation means direct benefits (such as salary, allowances,
bonus, commission) and indirect benefits (such as insurance,
pension plans, vacations) that an employee receives from an
employer.

 Performance based income


performance based income is a salary or wages paid
system based on positioning the individual, or team, on
their pay band according to how well they perform.

 Provident fund
Provident fund is another name for pension fund. Its purpose
is to provide employees with lump sum payments at the time of
exit from their place of employment
 Gratuity
Gratuity is a part of salary that is received by an employee from
his/her employer in gratitude for the services offered by the
employee in the company. 
 Group life insurance
Group life insurance is a type of life insurance in which a single contract
covers an entire group of people. Typically, the policyowner is an employer
or an entity such as a labor organization, and the policy covers the
employees or members of the group
 Requisite training provided
A method of preparing an employee to perform a task by providing them
with information about the task, a demonstration of its performance, an
opportunity for the employee to imitate the demonstration and
subsequent feedback.
