Article One: Dyslexia: What Teachers Need to Know Article Two: Neurodiversity: The Future of Special Education?

Similarities 

Both give lots of information on students with needs and how to assess such students. 
Both speak about ways of action and how to help students with dyslexia or special needs. Also gives ways to
differentiate instruction. 

My Thoughts

I had no idea that Dyslexia was a Neurological language based disorder. This effects many students and it is important
to be able to get that student to the right help to ensure an equal and optimal learning environment. 
I agree that Special Education has been on a parallel track with regular education. It it time for us to realize the
differentiation needed to provided an equal learning environment.
