Cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place online, or using electronic technology such
as cell phones, computers, and tablets over communication tools including social
media sites, text messages, chat, and websites.
Anyone can commit cyberbullying but mostly teenagers are the one who are known in
this cases. According to Sam Laird published article on Mashable Life, 42% of
teenagers with technology access report being cyberbullied over the past year, 69% of
teen owns their computer or smart phone and 80% are active on social media. A simple
message, a simple status or calling of names can trigger up a million emotions that
can lead to stress then depression and then death.
ACTIVITY NO. 1
Your task is to compose a short rap that promotes anti- cyber bullying with the following
mechanics:
∑ The message encourages the youth to fight cyber bullying. The message should
also inspire the youth to respect others.
∑ The melody may be adapted from a local or foreign music, but the lyrics must be
original.
∑ The rap may last for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
∑ Record your rap using a recording device in your cellular/android phones and
submit it to our Facebook group/messenger on (Schedule of submission).
∑ You may research for samples of protest raps online.
