It is more important to spend money solving problems here on Earth than on

developing space travel.

Developments in space travel require vast sums of money. (მოითხოვს

დიდი რაოდენობის თანხას) In my opinion, it is impossible to justify
(დასაბუთება) spending so much money when there are so many other
problems that need to be solved here on Earth.
Firstly, I believe that it is important to spend money on projects that benefit
people such as feeding everybody or the elimination of diseases.( დაავადების
აღმოფხვრა) I think these issues are more important because they affect
(გავლენის მოხდენა) the lives of millions of people around the world. The cost
of a space mission is enormous and the same money could provide
(უზრუნველყოფა) food and medicine for a lot of people. Moreover, we have a
serious problem with climate change that is affecting the whole of our planet. We
should do something to protect and improve this planet before we go and ruin
(განადგურება) others. There is some truth to the argument that space research
can have useful benefits for human beings. Astronauts live in extreme conditions
and medical professionals can learn a lot from seeing what happens to the body
in such situations.
However, I believe that there are cheaper ways of doing such research by
simulating those conditions, for example underwater. I do not believe we have
done enough yet to justify further space missions unless the money comes from
private sources.
In conclusion, I do not think it is right to spend so much money on space
travel when there are better things to spend the money on.
