Submission Requirements:

 Submission must be through Turnitin.

 The link to Turnitin will be placed within Week 11 on the Moodle course page. The assessment
must be submitted prior to 11:59pm on the 27 th March 2021.

 Late submissions should continue to be submitted through the turnitin link which will remain
open beyond the submission date, however, there will be a 10% loss of mark for each day late.

 At 5 working days late, the mark is 0 unless there are exceptional circumstances

 If this occurs, the student is required to provide evidence of exceptional circumstances to Student
Services, not the course instructor.

 The Assessment must be written in the student’s own words.

 Where writing is used from an external source, referencing is mandatory using the APA
referencing system. Failure to reference will result in an instructor conduct warning.

 Submitted work is subject to a word count of between 750 - 1000 words. Work which falls short
of, or significantly exceeds (by 10% or more), the agreed word count will be subject to at least a
10% reduced mark

on children. One of the key methods domestic abusers use to enable their offending to
continue is isolation.

child protection and poses great danger to children. The language used is often difficult to

technology. This creates significant difficulties for law enforcement agencies to respond to.

Question 4 (CL05) (25 Marks) Developing an effective Police investigation strategy is a good
way to ensure that a systematic and well considered investigative approach is maintained.
This is especially important for child protection cases that are subject to extensive scrutiny
should they go wrong.
