English Second Language Grade 4

Dictation

Instructions

Monday’s work

Learners will need to practice writing the sentences three/four times.

Parents will have to read the sentences out loud for the learners to learn how
words are pronounced and for practice.

Friday’s work

The parents read the sentences out loud to the learners, while the learners
write them down by themselves without copying them down from anywhere.
NB: When reading the sentences, parents should pause after each word to
give the learners enough time to remember the word and write down the
word.
Some learners will not get it at first, but practice makes perfect.

1. I write about school in my notebook.

2. Is there anything I can help you with?
3. Good luck in the game.
