1. What do you think is the advantages of having four account of Jesus?


Having four Gospels as opposed to one allows for the unique perspective of the writer to shine
through as they recall these significant and profound events. A great example of this is the
way Matthew links events, miracles, sayings, and other such things to Old Testament
Messianic prophesy. This would seem to indicate how strongly the writer believed that Jesus
was indeed the Christ that was promised to the Jews. Through these different points of view,
the reader can piece together a much more accurate picture of the events, just as law
enforcement will always seek multiple eyewitness accounts in order to get a comprehensive
and complete overview of what took place. Having more than one Gospel allows for the same
story to be recounted by various people to touch all bases and put together a complete picture.

2. Is the differences of the gospel account a proof that one of them is wrong?
No, because all these gospel are connected.
