Netiquettes to be followed in Online Classes

1. Choose a peaceful spot as far as practicable to attend

online classes.

2. Try to be on time. Punctuality is a virtue.

3. Try to attend classes regularly as far as possible.

Remember you will marked out of 10 for attendance.
You won’t wish to lose it surely ! (Your attendance will
be auto recorded)

4. Try to be active on the official WhatsApp group for

regular class updates.

5. There might be technical glitches at the teacher’s end

while generating class link. Be patient for the updates. If
you face similar network issues, inform your teacher too.

6. Use your official email id with your good name while

joining the classes. Anonymous names might not be
admitted.

7. Mute your microphone when the teacher speaks.

Only use the microphone when the teacher asks you to
do so.
8. Better you use chat box for communication. But again
remember don’t clog it or engage in chatting with
classmates while in a class. Be courteous with your
language both towards teacher and fellow classmates.

9. You should be more careful while using the camera.

Be formally dressed and check your surrounding to
avoid any unnecessary/ unwanted thing when the
camera is turned on.

10. Be present throughout the class.

11. Do not share class links, materials/ content to other

groups.

12. Recording classes from your own device, taking

screenshots of the class proceedings without the
teacher’s consent/ permission are strictly prohibited.
