Goals For The Workforce

Gain experience supporting children and youth in a variety of setting at various

organizations and companies to better understand what area within the field my
skills and personality would best match with.

Gain a better understanding of all the component within the 5 competencies of

Child and Youth Care and make a plan to incorporate all those aspect into my
practice.

Gain more knowledge and understanding of all the diverse background and
cultures the youth I would be supporting may come from and how I need to adapt
my practice to be accordingly.

Become a CYCCB member, complete my portfolio and get certified to become a

licenced Child and Youth Care Worker.

Gain experience in the field to better understand my areas of improvement and

strengths.
