movies, Coco, with no apparent reason refused to report for the shooting of the third movie. May Coco
be held liable for damages for breach of contract?

Yes, Coco may be held liable for damages for breach of contract.

Under Article 1170 of the Civil Code, Those who in the performance of their obligations are guilty of
fraud, negligence, or delay, and those who in any manner contravene the tenor thereof, are liable for
damages.

Here, Coco contravene the tenor of the contract wherein he is obliged to make three movies but he
refused to shoot for the third movie.

Therefore, he is liable for damages.
