Polytechnic student majoring in Computer and Information Engineering,
Informatics management study program. Now I will explain the results of
the mini research on the use of video conference applications, zoom,
Microsoft teams, Google Meet, and WebEx.
I am from group 4, in this research we used an online interview method with 2
speakers and also through a questionnaire on the Google form.
As many as 91 respondents who have filled in the google from questionnaire,
zoom is the most popular video conference application with the acquisition of
data as much as 56% of all incoming data respondents. followed by Google
meet 34.1%, Microsoft teams 5.5%, and WebEx 4.4%.
Of the many reasons why they chose zoom, I conclude that zoom is easier to use
than other applications, besides that most of them also use zoom because of the
demand from their lecturers.

From the interview of 2 speakers, the first speaker, a student of North Sumatra
University majoring in communication science, he chose Google Meet, because
the security factor is very guaranteed. From the second speaker, a North
Sumatra university student majoring in accounting, she chose the zoom
application, because of the demand from hers lecturers.
it can be concluded that zoom is the most popular video conference application,
followed by google meet, microsoft teams, and webex.
