Jale Eissel Sindol 11-ABM E

Today I am going to talk about, 'the culture society and politics in research'.

But first, what is the culture, society and politics in research? In our country we have the
Research group “Culture, Society and politics”. It is a research group at the Department of
Philosophy that takes a philosophical perspective in its focus on the social, political and cultural
topics. Their aim is to study concepts, analyze and develop key theories and apply critical
thinking to the understanding of changes in culture, politics and society. They promote basic
research on the view of man and society, on the foundation of normative theories of society,
reflection on prevailing rhetoric in the political field and the relationship between politics and
other areas of life.

Why is it important to understand cultural societies and politics? Knowing how society works as
a whole and as part of our life helps us find a better way to improve it or keep it alive. The well-
being of the country can also be seen in society. For us, as a students, it helps us to understand
how different societies are structured, managed and governed. This in turn helps students to
understand their place in the world. For example , in order to investigate poverty in the society,
students require knowledge of subjects like – History, Economics and Politics.

This helps us find the deep roots of some important problem we are experiencing nowadays.
Also, Understanding Culture, Society, and Politics uses multidisciplinal insights from
anthropology, political science, and sociology to develop student awareness of cultural, social,
and political dynamics and sensitivity to cultural diversity. Also, Knowing how society works as
a whole and as part of our life helps us find a better way to improve it or keep it alive. The well-
being of the country can also be seen in society.

In my own opinion, one of the importance of it is for us learn where we (the human kind) have
come from, where we might be going to and, especially, where we are not going to.By studying
society, culture and politics maybe one will realize that we are survivals of many thousand years
of evolution, and such survival has improved human being skills bestowed us many capabilities
and still imposed us sever limitations to our possibilities and chances. One who is able to
understand shall keep realistic thinking excluding stupid illusions and still keep taking realistic
and profitable chances. In short, one may learn that the future is not a materialization of our
vanities or mental delirium. There are a lot to learn with the past experiences keeping in mind
that we are not better than Romans or Mongols just because we have computers.

In addition to its intrinsic value, culture provides important social and economic benefits. With
improved learning and health, increased tolerance, and opportunities to come together with
others, culture enhances our quality of life and increases overall well-being for both individuals
and communities.

So all in all, in my conclusion people who are smart usually learn from further mistakes. So
knowing the society, culture and politics lets you learn about those mistakes and not repeat
them. Thank you for listening. Have a good day everyone.
