This kind of paintings are mostly or commonly made on canvases which are called easel

paintings. I can say that the theme of the painting is folk genre as it depicts a realistic manner.
The painting obviously shows a scene from the everyday life of [maybe] the first Filipino people.
Moreover, it present a setting in the mountains where agriculture is very abundant. We can see
how their houses are made and how they dress up. It also portrays these ordinary people in work
for they daily survival.
