The given bar chart compares and contrasts data on the amount of spare time people of different

occupations have by genders between 1998 and 1999. Overall, it is the unemployed end retired who
had more free time than the others.

In particular, as is illustrated from the chart, unemployed and retired people in both genders enjoyed
the most hours of leisure time, while the figures for men being about 8 hours higher than those for
women, proved by 84 over 76 hours respectively. The same trend could be witnessed in the statistics of
full-time employees with females having around 38 hours for relaxation, less than males by 12 hours.

As for the remaining categories, there was no data regarding the amount of time men had for leisure
activities. Meanwhile, housewives have more free time than women who do part-time jobs, proved by
approximately 55 hours over 40 hours in turns.
