Poor mental health not only interferes with an individual's ability to live a fulfilling life and carry out

their school, work, or family obligations; it can also lead to personal and social problems with serious
consequences. People's relationships to their children, spouses, relatives, friends, and co-workers will
suffer. That frequently leads to social isolation, which affects the person's ability to communicate and
interact with others.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, we may experience stress, anxiety, fear, sadness and loneliness. And
mental health disorders, including anxiety and depression, can worsen.Several mental health problems
can be treated effectively at low cost, but the disparity between those who need care and those who
have access to care remains significant. People with mental health conditions frequently face severe
human rights violations, discrimination, and stigma, despite progress in some countries.
