It is essential to any achievement that you have a goal to strive towards.

In order to achieve
your objective, it's necessary to identify the need for improvement in some area of your life. In
order to attain a goal, it is necessary to set a goal. Expectations are a critical component in
achieving any goal you set for yourself. Individuals may use expectations as a framework to
steer them toward a goal, and they can also use them as a guide as they go. The ability to tell
who is succeeding and who is failing depends on having a clear understanding of what is
expected of each individual. As a result, expectations are taken into account while assessing the
work of employees and allocating incentives. Leadership may intervene if a member of the
team fails to meet expectations and re-establish them. To guarantee that the quality of the job
is reached, standards are best practices that are followed. To be effective, a task need the
inclusion of every component. When there are no clear objectives, expectations, and standards
for the team's work, they will be left to fend for themselves in the dark.

Exemplary leaders, according to Kouzes and Posner (2017), reward and acknowledge
employees for their contributions to the company's mission and values. Leaders need to know
what behaviors should be rewarded in order to identify and reward them. This is when the
objectives, expectations, and standards come into the picture.. Leaders utilize objectives,
expectations, and standards to assess and reward employees' success. As a leader, you must
recognize and show appreciation by maintaining high expectations, communicating positive
expectations, creating an environment where feedback can be shared, finding out the best type
of encouragement, being creative, and frequently saying "thank you" on a daily basis in order to
encourage the heart.
