To Whom It May Concern:

In my role as a Residence Hall Coordinator at the University of Delaware, I have had the
immense pleasure of supervising WenXin Tang in her role as a Resident Assistant since August
of 2019. Resident Assistants are essential members of our staff and strive to partner with students
to create inclusive communities that enhance and support a student’s overall college experience.
The Resident Assistant position is a highly coveted one at the University of Delaware, and
WenXin has excelled in her work since her start in the role. I am excited and honored to
recommend WenXin to join your graduate program.

In her first year as a Resident Assistant, WenXin was charged with overseeing a large
community of students and supporting them during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic
on our campus. Despite these challenges, I have always been impressed with WenXin’s ability to
personally connect with each of the residents she works with, and purposefully offer support and
encouragement that can help them achieve success while at UD. While holding the Resident
Assistant position, WenXin has carried a robust course load and maintained involvement across
campus to continue her development, both personally and professionally. Through this, she has
always managed her time precisely and excelled in balancing her own studies while also
connecting with and supporting her residents. WenXin consistently demonstrates care for others
over herself, all while maintaining a strong work ethic. Because of this, I am fully confident that
WenXin will continue to demonstrate this in her future work to help improve the health of
others.

WenXin is a standout individual on my team and has demonstrated success not only in executing
her positional responsibilities, but also in working on a team. She is always highly cognizant of
the importance of individual connections with others when working on a team and maximizes
them to achieve success when working in teams. WenXin will undoubtedly thrive in the graduate
setting.
