Ship Register In eccordance with the rules of eoch Ship Register. ‘ABS, BV, ONY, GL, KR, LR, NK, RINA & BK7 Quality: GDS steel plates are free of injurious defects and have a workmanlike finish to conform to the requirements of specification under which it is produced Types of Edges: GDS steel plates can be furnished with “Mill Edged” as rolling natural edges (untrimmed edges) and “Cut Edged” (trimmed edges), depending upon the customer's requirement Delivery Weight: The Weight of GDS steel plates as delivered is the calculated volues in W/ton, basic weight : 7.85 Kg/mm/m?. The method of weight calculation of the steel plate shall conform to Specification JIS G3193. Minimum Acceptable Quantity : «a. For Domestic market : 20M/Ton or 5 pieces persize. b. For Export market : 5OM/Ton or 10 pieces persize. Delivery Allowance: 10% on the total weight and /or per size, and plus minimum one piece per size, if the quantity ordered is ess thon 10 pieces persize. Normal Delivery Tim The normal delivery time is between 30 ond 45 days after receipt of firm order and payment, but early delivery can be arranged on case to cose basis. Ultrasonic Testing : As the standard practice, ultrasonic testing is done by GDS on most of steel plates at random basis. However , If requested by the customer, GDS steel plates con be submitted to 100% ultrasonic testing with thicknesses greater than 25mm up to and including 70mm in accordance with the Standard Specification ASTM A435. Ultrasonic testing charges to be borne by the customer, Mill Test Certificate: The Mill Test Certificate issued by GDS to the customer shall consist of specification, grade, heat numberplate number, quantity, dimensions, weight, tes! number, chemical composition and mechanical properties like yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, etc. For GDS steel plate above 70mm in thickness, itsholl be supplied in the “as rolled” condition with 1n0 guarantee for any flainess and internal imperfections such os pipe, ruptures, laminations and inclusion etc. Only the ladle analysis and mechanical properies will have compliance to the requirement of the specification under which the plate is ordered9. Packing: Bare and Loose. 10. Marking: Unless otherwise requested by the customer, GDS steel plates are sienciled with white spray paint onthe top surface of every plate as follows PT.
