I am writing to inform you that our university is going to launch a new scholarship
program for our diligent and hard-working students. This scholarship is to encourage
our students to perform extraordinarily. The scholarship budget is equally divided
among fall and spring batches.

This scholarship will be awarded based on merit. A test will be conducted for the
candidates. Students will register themselves to take the test. The syllabus of this test
will be according to their subjects. The will be MCQ-based and will be conducted online
on Safe Exam Browser(SEB).

Please note that to apply for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a BS
program (4-Year) and maintain a cumulative 3.0-grade point average(GPA). And the
student must not have dropped any subject throughout the degree program. Only
students from the 3rd to 8th semester can apply for this scholarship.

I wanted to inform you about the mayhem that coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
has caused in the business industry. In addition to its impact on public health, COVID-
19 has caused a major economic shock.

A tremendous decline in sales can be seen in the business industry. Respondents that
had temporarily closed largely pointed to reductions in demand and employee health
concerns as the reasons for the closure, with disruptions in the supply chain being less
of a factor. Due to the import/export restrictions that countries around the globe have
imposed, our country's business sector has particularly been damaged on the daily
basis.

The business development sector has also been affected by the COVID-19 which has a
great impact on the country's GDP. Apparently, there is a decrease in the number of
business startups around the country due to financial losses.

We hope for some relief in taxes from the government in observance of this back-
breaking situation.
