Formalism, Feminist Approach, Reader-Response Approach, and Marxism.

approaches. As a critical approach is to a reaction paper, a
theoretical framework is to research. A critical approach
serves as the foundation for the reaction paper, giving it a
solid foundation.

REVIEW

Understanding critical perspectives will help you see and

appreciate a literary work as a multilayered meaning
construct. Reading literary criticism will motivate you to
reread, rethink, and respond to literature.

CRITIQUE
Learning the significance of approaches in writing a critique is
critical because the purpose of a critique paper is to evaluate
someone's work in order to increase the reader's understanding of
it. And literary criticism of art is the practice of judging and
commenting on the qualities and character of literary works.
