Delphine de Vigan, born in 1966, is a French writer who lives in Paris. She led studies for an opinion
research firm after studying at the CELSA Institute at the Sorbonne University of Paris, while also
composing her first literary writings on the side. She has a number of adult novels to her credit. "Based
on a True Story", "Gratitude", "Loyalties", "No and Me", "Nothing Holds Back the Night", "Underground
Time" books with a genre of Contemporary, Crime, Thriller & Mystery, General & Literary Fiction, and
Non-Fiction. The Prix des Libraires 2008 (The Booksellers' Prize) was given to "No and Me" in France.

The daily newspaper praised de Vigan for successfully addressing both adults and children, which could
be due to the author's personal experience as a sociologist, or to her deft use of another young person's
stream of consciousness, which avoided the risk of creating a sob story. In reality, the novel is moving,
sympathetic, beautiful, and compelling, and as one reads it, it builds a quiet force.
