XBID Transit Shipping issue

Steps Environment Task Sign Details

If one of the XBID parties has transit shipping issues we will use this checklist.
Affected procedure: XBID_JOINT_FAL_01 Chapter 2.2

We receive a call from a Transit agent. They inform us about an issue and they want to start the process for an urgent closure of the

Send out the email: (XBID_JOINT_08): XBID Urgent closure of Interconnector(s) to relevant TSOs & NEMO's. Use the template in the XBID Mailbox.

7 IC Check if all the needed TSO's are in the call. Closure of Interconnectors.

Confirm with TSOs in the call that they have closed the needed interconnectors.
8 IC Closure of Interconnectors.
You should also receive the XBID_TSO_04 message per interconnector. One is needed per interconnector
If after 5 minutes since the sending of the IC invite not all the relevant interconnectors are closed we will continue with an XBID market

If all the Interconnectors are closed, check with the Transit agent if the IC can be closed and you can move to the next step.

If the Transit agent has the perspective that the problem is going to be fixed in the next minutes, we will wait in the call and continue with Use the template in the XBID Mailbox.

In this case, when we receive confirmation that the issue is fixed, send out the email: (XBID_JOINT_12): XBID Reopening of (Grey)\01. General\03. XBID Contact list
Interconnector(s) to relevant TSO & NEMO's. Copy the line out of table in the template, and replace "NAME OF THE Drafts: XBID_JOINT messages
INTERCONNECTORs" with the full line out of the table, then delete the orange table from the bottom. You can close the IC and skip to
step 13.

11 IC Close the IC

If the IC has been closed and the issue is solved after, the Transit agent will contact us by phone and you will send out the email: Use the template in the XBID Mailbox.

We receive a call from ECC. They inform us about an issue and they want to start the process for an urgent closure of the

Inform all other departments in Incident Coordination - ''Canal 16'' as to the issue we are facing just to warn them. Then continue with the

updates afterwards in the ''continious Coordination'' location with all the updates.

Call IC SPOC to request the start of the process.


If IC SPOC is not available call the Backup contact (numbers in the XBID contact list in Incident Committee tab)

Check in the call if the needed TSO's have closed the needed interconnectors.
8 IC Closure of Interconnectors.
You should also receive the XBID_TSO_04 message per interconnector. One is needed per interconnector

Follow the IC, if ECC thinks it is going to be solved in the next minutes we will wait in the IC and reopen.

9 IC/Phone Otherwise the IC will be closed and when the issue is solved we will contact the IC SPOC by phone.

In both cases, when the issue is solved, the IC SPOC needs to send out: (XBID_JOINT_12): XBID Reopening of Interconnector(s)

If needed, as issue reporter, you need to update the IC report with additional details that is created by the IC SPOC. The report can be ProjectPlace credentials can be found in Enpass. You need the 'ProjectPlace XBID All'
