ORDER In the references 3, 4, 6 and 7 read above, The Hon'ble MLC and Employees Associations have requested the Government to issue TSGLI polices to the employees who have been contributing the premium but not applied for policies even though they have crossed the maximum age limit of 53 years and are still in service. 2. In the references 5 and 8 read above, the Director of Insurance has requested the Government to accord permission to the subscribers, who started contributing enhanced premium prior to attaining 53 years of age and those who are in service, to submit their proposal forms to get policies, for a period of (6) months so that they can get the policy benefits at the time of retirement/risk. 3. After careful examination of the proposal of the Director of Insurance, Government hereby permits the Director of Insurance to (i) Permit the employees who are in service and who contributed the premium prior to their attaining the age of 53 years and are continuing contribution till date, to submit forms and obtain Policies within the extended time specified below. (ii) The above employees shall be given six (6) months time, i.e., upto 31.10.2021 to submit forms and obtain Policies, (iil) In respect of those employees who paid excess premium after crossing 53 years of age, the Director of Insurance shall take necessary action to refund such excess premium amount without interest. Scanned with CamScanner2 (iv) The Director of Insurance shall give wide publicity to these instructions, to make awareness to each and every employee from top to bottom in the hierarchies and also bring it to the notice of all Drawing and Disbursement Officers/Heads of the Department/ Head of the Offices, 4. __ The Director of Insurance is directed to be very careful, hereinafter and ensure that the proposal forms are received from the Government employees in time and the policies are issued promptly by maintaining close contact with Drawing and Disbursement Officers/Head of the Department/Head of the Offices. He is also directed to inform all the Employees Associations about this facility. 5. The above instructions shall be followed scrupulously.
