The line graph illustrates the number of international

students from Iran, Greece and Turkey who studied

at Sheffield University from 2005 to 2009.
Overall, the number of Iranian and Turkish students
experienced a gradual increase during the observed
period, while there was a drop in the number of
Greek students enrolling in the school.
In 2005, there was a large number of Greece
students (about 180) attending Sheffield University.
However, this figure decreased gradually in the
upcoming years, with no change during the 2007-
2008 period, and reached its lowest point of about 45
students by 2009.
On the other hand, at the beginning of the period,
there were only 40 and 20 students from Iran and
Turkey respectively. The number of students from
these two countries steadily increased over the
years, exceeding Greece’s figure in 2007. In 2009,
Iran had the most students enrolling in the school
among the three countries, around 160 students,
while Turkey came in second with 120 students.
