The chart shows the percentages of employment sectors that

employed students who graduated from Brighton University in


2019.

Overall, the service industries hired the highest number of


graduates, as opposed to the sport sector, which had the lowest
employment rate. In addition to the service industries,
manufacturing industry, politics and education were also quite
popular choices among the graduates.

In 2019, 33% of graduates decided to enter the service industries


after completing their degrees, making it the sector with the highest
percentage. In contrast, both the sport and charity sectors
employed a significantly small number of students (0.1% and 0.3%
respectively).

in 2019, the largest segment of the pie chart was service industries
with the highest number of graduate employment. In contrast, both
sport and charity sectors contributed the least, being 0.1% and 0.3%
of the total number of graduates respectively.

The second most popular choice of employment was the


manufacturing industry, which employed 16.3% of graduates, while
the education sector accounted for 14.7%. Additionally, 12.1% of
graduates started their career in politics and government. About 7%
of students signed up for jobs in the sector of science and
technology, which was also the case in transportation and
warehousing. Just over 5% applied for the civil service sector and a
further 2.8% worked in other unspecified fields.
