Greetings!

It is with much gratification and enthusiasm that I am writing to you to support the
candidacy of Medelyn G. Bacus, who is applying for DOST-ASTHRDP scholarship slot.
I first met her in an interview during her first admission to our Department. And it was
my privileged to serve as her professor in Developmental Biology and Genetics class. During her
stay, I have personally observed her ability and performance on her studies. I have found her to
be pleasant, generous and cooperative towards the group and at the same time responsible.
She also got a good gentle-gentle sense of humor which never bore her peers. She is a selfless-
persistent leader. She demonstrates eagerness and curiousness in learning new things in the
subject course and hence very open to constructive criticisms. She is friendly and is someone
who can be freely approach by others. She is capable of keeping all her requirements on track
while ensuring that her colleagues in the group were valued. Her performance in class made
her earned a place on the Dean’s Honor List. She has displayed interest, maturity, good attitude
and potentials which I believe that these qualities would make her a better and outstanding
student for your program one day.
I am thus convinced that she will prove herself to be a valuable contributor to other
academe pursuits of research and development in our region and country.
As his professor and mentor, I strongly recommend her for admission into the program.
I believe that she has always been ready to exert an effort and go an extra mile for his personal

Greetings!
I write this letter in support of Medelyn G. Bacus application for the DOST-ASTHRDP
slot.

I came to know Medelyn when I was her professor in Ecology class. As her teacher, I
have found her as a student who demonstrate a high interest and motivation towards the
course subject. As I came to know her, she displays a strong leadership skills and appreciated
her group members. She likes discussion a lot, and love to open for new conversations. She is
friendly and most all flexible in meeting other new people. She is very open to new ideas and
freely accepts constructive criticisms. Her energy and attitude is a combination that life is
meant to be rejoice and success is reachable. She’s one of the most humble person I know.

In class standing, she is active and participative and persistent to whatever task is
given to her. She is diligent, organized and keep her requirements on track. Her performance in
class made her earned a place in the Dean’s Honor List. She is young, disciplined and mature
thus, I am confident that she will always carry and continue to display the same diligence,
perseverance and optimisms to herself and others.

As his professor, I am certain that she will continue to do great things as a

contributor to research and to her future endeavors.
