INTO CASH
Trying to turn passion into profit can be a little nerve wrecking and
slightly risky. The good news is that you can minimize the risks by
starting small and planning carefully. Keep in mind that in the early
stages of launching your business (regardless the niche or type of
business), you're still in the learning phase. Test the waters first and
make sure whatever you do is scalable. Then, as you start seeing
success, invest in rolling your products and services out in a more
significant way.
The obvious but most important step is to find your passion. This is
because there is no limit to how far you can go when you discover
what you are passionate about. Your passion is something you
genuinely enjoy doing. It helps you to build on your strengths, guides
you in the right direction, and keeps you moving forward when you
feel demotivated. Therefore, figure out what it is that you are
passionate about and find the financial freedom you are aiming for.
The best way to eventually turn passion into profit is to start your
business while you still have the safety and security of your day job.
Ideally, you won’t leave your full-time position until your passion
project is providing you with a sustainable, growing cash flow that is
equal to at least 80% or more of your current salary. Some
entrepreneurs have a healthy appetite for risk, but you shouldn’t
jump into anything without having a 'safety net' or having a good
chance at success.
What do you enjoy doing?..... but may not be so good great at?
Remember that your strong points aren’t necessarily the only
way to find your passion. You can also identify one or two
things you love to do but aren’t as efficient as you wish you
were and work from there. For instance, you may be interested
in launching startups but have failed several times. How many
times have you failed only to try all over again? When you
have listed your interests and skills, focus on the next step.
What type of product or service are you offering? For instance, if you
are great at designing logos, websites, brochures and also love
teaching, which route are you going to take? Will you market and sell
your services on freelance sites or you are going to create an online
course and sell it on Udemy? Choose what suits you best. The
important thing is to pick the option that you are most comfortable
with and one that will enable you to reach your audience faster.

2. Make connections.
Build relationships with people who are starting and professionals
who are already successful in your line of business. This is a great
way to make connections, learn, grow your audience, and ensure the
right people interact with your brand.
You can monetize your passion and turn it into a lucrative business
with little or no money. Social media is a great place to start. Start a
YouTube channel or open a Google My Business account and get
started. You can also use Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest to reach
a much bigger audience and increase your earnings. If you use any of
these methods and take the right steps, you will make money.
Open a Google My Business account.
Have a business account or page that is solely dedicated to
advertising, managing, and selling your product. You can either open
a Google My Business account or start a YouTube channel. Choose
the best option that suits your business.
1. Improve visibility.
Google My Business allows you to rank high on Google and advertise to a
much bigger audience. So, optimize your account to improve SEO and
improve sales. Use meta descriptions, posts, keywords, and
customer reviews for higher rankings.
You can also create a YouTube channel for free, market your
services, and increase revenue. YouTube allows you to advertise to
the right people, improve traffic to your website, and connect with
your subscribers at a personal level.
Offer valuable content to gain more subscribers and easily market
your product or service. The more views and watch hours you have
the more money you earn. You can make as much as 30k or more
per year.
Come up with creative ideas for your YouTube content. You don’t
have to necessarily talk about your products in every video. Be
creative. Offer informative and useful content around your niche.
For instance, if you specialize in tech and are an IT specialist, cover
topics within your niche.
You can also talk about your passions, inspirations, ideas or product,
services, discounts and plans here and there while referring followers
to your website or blog.
Join a few groups. There are all sorts of organic groups in facebook.
These are groups of people with similar interests. Find a few that
interest you and join them. You can create your own group but first find
out if one exists on the same topic. This is an excellent place to be
creative and get support from a bunch of people for your cause.
Create events and invite people. If you want to host a party, this is the
feature you will use. Create your events and invite others to join. You can
make an event public for your friends to see or private for the invitees to
browse. Under my event, you can browse your friends’ public events. You
will immediately know who are your fake friends because they did not
invite you to their gala dinner they are hosting.
For example, if writing is your passion, you can create a course that
teaches students how to improve their writing skills and turn them
into profits. The most important part is to do enough research so
that you can provide helpful information and attract more students.
If you have great reviews and testimonials, more people will
purchase your course.
2. Market Demand
Next, consider market demand. How many people want to access the
information you have? Who can benefit from it? The best way to
figure this out is by asking your existing audience. Mention your
course on your blog, Facebook page, or YouTube channel. Talk about
the reason for creating one as well as how your students are going
to benefit. You can also ask a few questions that will help you offer
valuable content. For instance, what challenges are you having with
ABC? What would you like to learn? Or what skills do you wish to
polish?
3. Value Proposition
Next, work on your pricing plan. How much are you going to charge?
How much do you wish to make overall? Learn from the
competition. Pay attention to their strategy and come up with a
better one. For instance, charge $20 or more for the complete course
and give your students free useful resources. This will lead to more
enrollments.
4. Marketing Channels
Decide on your marketing channels. How are you going to market
your new business venture? You can use existing social accounts or
pages as well as your blog or website. You can also use Marketing
Automation Software. For example, Mailchimp.
They say the best way to making money on the Internet, is to create your
own Ebook. Wow! Thats a simple statement, but do you know what is
involved. Ill try to explain what I have learned and I am learning while I'm
creating my own Ebook.
Brainstorming
If you know what you want to create, you've already on your way. But, if
you're not sure what information you have stored in your years of living
well, it can be difficult. I've found the best way to brainstorm is to write
your ideas, experiences and knowledge down on a piece of paper then do
research to determine what people are looking for on the net.
Research
To determine if your product, idea, or info-knowledge will fly you must do
research. Go to Wordtracker or Overture and see how many times people in
the month were looking for what you want to write about. This will give you
an idea if it is a viable product. Also do a straight search in Google and
Yahoo for your keywords, and see what turns up. Investigate some of the
sites, you may be surprised that you have a completely slant on the
information you want to present in an E-book which is a good thing.
Writing
If you think your ebook may fly, then it is time to write. Create it in html or a
txt format, using Word or Notepad. Then download Gymnast its free (you
can find it on my site — go to the tools sections, and look under Promote
tool.
This will create your ebook. But before you pull it into a PDF, be sure to
proofread your material. Next, you can create an Ebook cover. Yes, I know,
youre on a tight budget.
If you don't find these free ebook covers to your liking then you can
purchase software to create your own ebook cover or pay someone else
to do it for you. Once you have your ebook completed, it is time to get it
out to the masses.
By offering e-books to those people who visit your site, you are
allowing your visitors to know a bit more about the product/service
you are promoting. By writing on a topic that you are familiar with you
set yourself up as an expert in your particular field.

For this reason, it’s actually a great idea to start a freelancing business
before you think you need to. Freelancing is often built from trust and
client relationships, and those relationships take time to form. If you
start freelancing part time or on the side, you give yourself time to

HARDWARE
The first thing you will need is a compatible computer. Today every
new computer is already set up with everything you will need. A basic
sound card with a mic and line in jack. If you do not have a sound card
they are very cheap and you can get a good one from any standard
computer shop. Next you will need a good mic.
SOFTWARE – RECORDING
Recording your audio is probably one of the most critical parts of this
process and again you can get software that ranges from free to many
thousands of dollars. For this exercise I suggest you download the free
copy of Audacity. This is an excellent free software package that will
allow you to record from your microphone or any equipment you
have. It provides excellent editing capabilities and also will allow you to
edit multiple tracks and then combine them into one single track.

SOFTWARE STREAMING
There are a few different ways of streaming your new audio files.
If you have Macromedia products you can simple organize this
your self however there are some great third party programs
around that will do it all for you at a fraction of the time. This is a
simple piece of software that takes any mp3 or wav audio and
converts the whole file into a swf file and then attaches a button
so that viewers can listen on a web page without needing to
download any extra software. This is because the flash plugin is
on 98% of computes and if not it will automatically detect and
load the small plugin. This is great for anyone not wanting to get
into all the technical aspects of streaming audio.

The three main ways that well talk about are paying for traffic,
sending an email to your mailing list (that itself takes time to build)
and lastly to joint venture with another website owner. This means
they send you traffic, and you split profits with them 50:50. You can
use software to track the number of hits produced from their
mailouts.
The next step after paying for traffic is to monitor results. You can
track the number of hits from various sources to focus on those
that are producing sales. Lets say you had 4 different advertising
sources producing a total in sales of $200 and you spent a total of
$80. Thats a profit margin of 250%. If you were able to see that the
$20 you spent with PPC advertiser A produced 0 dollars in sales
and the same for advertiser B. Advertiser C brought in $20 in sales
but advertiser D brought in a whopping $180 in sales.

That's 900% profit and you could then focus your advertising
dollars on that source to maximize profit. Every type of advertising
must have a tracking system with strong accuracy.
3. Joint Venture.
The strategy is simple, other websites send out emails and place
strategic links on their website to attract visitors to your website.
YUou only pay them for the sales produced from any clicks.
Generally 50% of the profits is the best since its an equal share.
The key here is to make it as easy as possible for you JV partner.
Create emails for them, banner ads and any other promotional
material that will help them.

You can receive JV support from all of the established companies in
the field you wish to enter if you approach them correctly.
Social Media
Not all traffic is the same. Getting a gazillion hits is great, but not if it
is from random subjects and subjects. You want to focus on traffic
that has a reasonable chance of converting.
Many sites make the mistake of trying to be all things to all people. It
is far better to stick to a specific service or product than it is to offer
limited options to customers. If you are selling hiking gear, be the best
damn hiking gear site on the net and nothing else. This same problem
arises when sites target traffic generation strategies.
Credible traffic is simply traffic from sources and locations that are
relevant to your site. If you have looked into generating traffic, you
have probably seen offers of 100,000 hits for $50. Yes, you will get
100,000 hits. Of course, the traffic is coming off of free lottery sites or
the visitors are being paid to visit your site. This traffic is not credible
and will not convert into revenues.
This means you can specify the keyword phrases you want to
be listed under, to wit, targeting your advertising to your
market. You can also create filters that limit the ad placements
to searches from certain geographic locations, such as the
United States or Europe. This further targets your traffic by
excluding clicks from some country which you cant possibly do
business with.
You can also get credible traffic from web sites and traffic
vendors. The sites handle it differently, but you can often buy
ad space on their sites in the form of a banner. There are
some credible services out there, but there are a lot more
dubious ones. Personally, I do not use any of them, but it is
your money.
Stay patient
Passion isn’t something that we can just learn one day. When
someone is passionate about something, it happens naturally. If
you’re not passionate about any of your interests, then you
should consider just relaxing and learning more about yourself
over time while discovering new interests. Let passion find you.
Be Courageous
To successfully start making money from your passion, you need
to be courageous and have thick skin throughout the entire
process. There will be ups and downs when you’re first starting
out! There is nothing more important than having the support of
others. Join Facebook groups or find other entrepreneurs who
can support you in your business goals.
Stay inspired
Any meaningful project or work takes a large amount of daily focus.
Before setting goals, ask yourself why you should do it and what will
keep you motivated. It is for your kids, husband, wife, friend,
community or dog? What emotions do you imagine feeling when you
succeed? Pride, joy, peace, excitement, confidence? Find ways to
make the journey towards your goals more fun, like allowing your
creativity and imagination to flourish while involved in your work.
Look for ways to put your unique stamp on your work or to change
the way your approach things daily to avoid falling into the rut of
uninspired and poor effort.
