In muslim/islam teaching:

What is Salvation?

Do you believe in Salvation?

Good morning.

Yes of course Muslims do believe in salvation but it's different from other religion's view of salvation.

In Islam, salvation can be attained through different factors. First, you must believe in the Oneness of
Allah s.w.t. You must not associate anything or anyone with God. He has no beginning nor end. He
created everything that can be seen and cannot be seen.

Second, you have to repent and ask for mercy and forgiveness for all your sins for Allah swt is The Most
Merciful. Allah swt said that the best of the sinners are those who frequently repent. And when shaitan
(devil) said that by Allah's glory, he will misguide humans and expose how ungrateful they are to their
Lord. And Allah swt said that by His Glory and Might, He will forgive everyone who repents and ask
forgiveness from Him even if his sin is as wide as the ocean.

Then, third is to follow the 5 pillars of Islam which the first is already included. You can google it.

We cannot really say na salvation while we are still alive coz judgement will be done by Allah swt alone.
Nobody can judge anyone for nobody but Allah swt knows what is in our heart. We can only strive to do
good and believe in Him and hope that we will be saved from the torment of the grave and the hell fire

5 Pillars of Islam

1. Kalimah Shahadah

2. Salah

3. Zakat

4. Fasting

5. Hajj (if possible?

So inorder to be saved, you must follow the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet
Muhammad s.a.w

The sunnah are the acts done by our beloved prophet which serves as a guide for mankind. He was the
perfect example made by God.

In a nutshell, Islam is the completw submission to the will of Allah swt. It is a way of life.
I hope somehow that I managed to help even for a little.

Can you also share your own experience of salvation happened in your lif…

Maybe what I can put here is how I was guided back to the right path by Allah swt. When I was
struggling and almist lost everything, I have nobody to turn to, not even my relatives or family. Until you
realized that you only have God to seek refuge to. Everyone will be tested and the believers will realize
that it is indeed a blessing and a guidance. He reminds us that we only have God to ask for help and
Allah swt alone is sufficient for us. Even if the whole world turn their back on you if you have Allah swt
then fear not and be steadfast and believe in His plan. Allah swt said that in every hardship comes ease.
And that Allah swt never give any task to anyone that he cannot bear.

So during that time O was really struggling so much, to say that my other goot is in the grave is an under
statement. I describe it as my whole body except my head is buried but I turn to Allah swt and patiently
waited and kept believing while I tried to endure all the pain and hardship. And in the end, He showed
me the way and I found peace as well.

When I was doing good financially, I cannit say I really had found peace. I became more contented when
I turn to Allah swt. And whatever happens, I believe that Allah swt has a plan and He is the Best Planner
of all. Our human mind cannot really figure out how He works but it if we believe in Him, we will be
patient and think positively. Being a Muslim means you do not worry, for if you believe in God, you know
He will provide just like how He had provided for everyone else.
