I. Matching headings / questions

1. Look at the headings first , then read the
paragraphs
2. Read the paragraphs first, the first and the last
sentences give you a general idea of what the text
is about
DON’T PANIC if you don’t know all of the words!
 Omit those headings / questions which have nothing to do
with the content!
1. Travelling has always been the best way to broaden your horizons. Even if
you just take a ride to the nearest mountain outside your city you will be
either breathless by the stunning nature or amazed by the opportunities
which lay in front of you. There are countless travel agencies which can
help you find your destination, so all you need is to make up your mind.
2. However, there is a concern among adventurists that successful travel to
other places doesn’t always depend on travel agencies, but on the available
finances. Namely, travelers have been managing time , place and money as
successfully as they can just catch a glimpse of the other side of the world.
Travel ambitions have to go along with resources if one wants to have a
decent holiday. Unless there is a considerable amount of money at hand,
the favourite dream holiday can easily be transformed into undesired
nightmare.
3. The most obvious way to save up some extra money for traveling is not
spending one which is already in your wallet. Although it may sound funny,
this way is more practical than any other. While shopping, giving up
particular things which would collect dust on the shelves can be a penny-
wise decision.
4. Situations can get out of control in a foreign country in case of an accident
or serious illness knowing that the patient is too far from home to be
treated. Depending on the country that is visited the health care quality can
vary as well. The only solution appears to be is travel and health insurance ,
but the investment in those packages will surely influence your pre-planned
budget for the trip.
5. It is a major obstacle to travel without spending too much money on the
actual travel arrangements including the most needed insurance. The only
way adventurists can provide themselves with affordable travel conditions
is by providing additional finances. Nevertheless, the travel agencies have
been selling out other less expensive options, so it’s up to the individual to
choose what suits them best for their money.
