Over the last few years, many people have become concerned about the responsibility of the global

environmental problems for both rich and poor countries. Is developed countries are responsible for the
global environmental problems? I would argue that international environmental problems are the
liability of developed countries.

First of all, developed countries cause major environmental damages, for example, air and water
pollution. The industrialization sector in developed countries has release a higher number of carbon
emissions that led to the air pollution. This is happen because they mostly using fossil fuels for their
industrial activities rather than using renewable energy. In addition, they become the major suppliers so
they will use more and more natural resources for produce chattels to meet the international buyer
demands. As a consequence, it will increase the deforestation rates in many countries all over the world.

Secondly, developed countries have a lot of money to manage those environmental issues. They have
higher state revenues compare with the poor countries. In fact, developed countries earn a lot of money
by collecting taxes from the industrial sectors and selling goods to major markets. Therefore, they can
spend that money on some environmental programs and research.

Finally, rich countries have a lot of qualified people in the environmental field. This is because they could
spend a considerable amount of national budget for environmental education, actions, and research.
For example, they can fund the environmental organizations in their countries to help them analyze the
cause and effect of the natural resources damages.

In conclusion, developed countries are responsible for environmental problems because they cause
major natural resources damages globally. Moreover, they have a higher amount of national budget and
many qualified people on environmental field that can tackle these issues. For these reasons the
developed countries should take responsibility to manage global environmental problems.
