I draw this cross with mass persecution inside the cross as my symbol of the church
because this relates to my self-experience during my younger age (since I grew up in a
traditional Christian environment), I used to put on my best clothes every Sunday and
beg my parents for a penny to give into the offering basket. Despite the fact that church
wasn't always interesting for me, I appreciated Sunday school, when the aunty on duty
gave us tales about Abraham, Noah, Moses, and Jesus. I saw that as I grew older, the
church became a place where I looked forward to visiting since it was where I met my
friends. The church became a place where I was spiritually nourished, engaged in
worship, and participated in religious dialogues as I developed in faith and began to
have a relationship with Christ.
