It's worth mentioning what Kenny does with the Em chord at the end of each line.

The G note in the chord means that the full B Mixolydian (B C# D# E F# G# A) won't
work. You could simply change the G# to G, creating E melodic minor (E F# G A B C#
D#) but Kenny chooses to use E Dorian (E F# G A B C# D).
