Discuss briefly about the subject matter of Sociology which is diverse,
ranging from crime to religion, from the family to the state, from the divisions
of race and social class to the shared beliefs of a common culture, and from
social stability to radical change in whole societies. How does Sociology as a
subject contribute to your understanding of society?

“According to Simmel sociology is a specific social science which describes,
classifies, analyses and delineates the forms of social relationships or in other
words social interactions should be classified into various forms or types and
analysed.”
With reference to aforesaid statement identify the particular school of thought
related to scope of sociology in it and analyse briefly about the same.

functionalist sociological perspectives. Also examine the level of analysis of
Funetionalist perspective in it.
