Persuasive Communication
- Is any message intended to convince people to shape, reinforce or change their
responses, attitude or course of action.
- Can be in verbal, nonverbal, oral, and written communication

Persuasive Communication in Different Settings


- It can be defined as the physical surroundings of a communication event, which
may include the location where the communication occurs, environmental
conditions, time of day or day of the week, as well as the proximity of
communication (Nakayama & Martin 2007)
- It can also be defined as the mode of transmission used for persuasive
communication.
