Congratulations! Your story pitch has been selected for the as part of a larger series
of stories on the intersection of tech and minority rights that will be published on
our website Digital Rights Monitor (DRM).

You will be writing a news story of 1200 – 1500 words focusing on safe spaces
that religious minorities in Pakistan have created for themselves online. The
payment for this is Rs. 7000.

We will also be sending you a contract to sign as part of a formal agreement with
Media Matters for Democracy relating to the content that you will be producing
with us. For the contract please fill in the information required in the table below
and email me a copy of your CNIC.

I’ve also attached a document, where you have to fill in your reporting plan.
This is important. For purposes of editing and fact checking the interviews, please
keep a detailed record of your notes and any interview recordings you make during
the reporting process. We might need access to these to verify and face check the
information in the story.

You need to submit the first draft of the story by December 10, 2019. This will
be edited and reviewed. If there is any extra reporting or work required you will be
given some additional days to add information, depending on the amount of
information that needs to be added.
