In this opportunity, I’m going to present my

Intermediate 7 project. I hope you like it.

On January 15 of this year, I was watching the disney kids on a televisión until my SISTER asked
me IF i COULD ChanGE TO THE news CHANNEL . And when I was changing to the news 4
channel, she told me It was happening a forest fire in the central coastal area of Chile. Then,
when we saw the news, My sister said that she couldn´t believe it! , there were many people
who needed help!!!!!!

She was so surprised!

The fire threatened houses that were very close to the flames. It´s for that The authorities
decreed the red alert immediately. And obviously they received a charge and they told them
to evacuate the population that was near the place.

In addition, during the fire, there were many losses of vegetables, forests consumed by the
fire, and the saddest thing is that there were many dead wild animals.

But at the same time, my sister and I could see people who wanted to save things in their
homes and even be able to risk their lives to save animals that were in danger, but
unfortunately these people were not allowed to do that .

the authorities did not let people pass because the authorities had to safeguard people's lives.

The emergency committee headed by the mayor, Jorge Martínez was able to help by sending
12 helicopters and 8 planes to prevent a spread to houses

Well, for my sister these actions can be very helpful, help that was urgently needed, help that
could not be believed at first

It Fortunately, the people who did not have a home to stay in, well , they managed to obtain
for a few days a place to live or take refuge thanks to the government.

Well, one of the recommendations that my sister gave me is that if at any time I find myself in
a similar situation, what I should do is cover my mouth and nose with a wet handkerchief and
try to go to a shelter to seek help.
