Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an enterprise's commitment to business ethics and

contributes to sustainable economic development, improving the quality of life for employees
and their families, local communities. community and society in general. CSR is considered as
an important factor as other traditional factors such as cost, quality, and delivery in the business.
CSR is integrated into the enterprise's strategy and becomes a mandatory condition for the
business to exist and develop.
In 2010, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) released a set of voluntary
standards to help companies fulfil their social responsibility. Unlike other ISO standards, ISO
26000 provides guidance rather than requirements as CSR is qualitative rather than quantitative
in nature and its standards cannot be certified. Instead, ISO 26000 clarifies what social
responsibility is and helps organizations translate CSR principles into effective actions. This
International Standard is aimed at all types of organizations regardless of their activity, size, or
location. And, because many key stakeholders from around the world contributed to the
development of ISO 26000, this standard represents an international consensus.
Since 2005, Vietnam has had the award "Corporate social responsibility towards sustainable
development". CSR was introduced into Vietnam through the investment activities of
multinational companies with many detailed codes of conduct. Currently, Vinfast is increasingly
interested in and aware that CSR is an integral part of the business's sustainable development
goals.
To improve shareholder value, Vinfast has launched a plan to raise up to 3 billion USD in the
first IPO of the business in the United States, becoming the largest listed company in Vietnam
from before to now. The planned IPO of VinFast shares will take place in the second quarter of
2021. Vinfat is said to be working with consultants so that the IPO can take place right in the
second quarter. Notably, the minimum valuation of VinFast after listing is at least 50 billion
USD. If the IPO is successful in the US, the potential sale of VinFast shares to the New York
Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the US, this IPO will also set an "unprecedented" record and the
world's media pay certain attention to the Vietnamese car company - VinFast.

VinFast achieved good revenue in June 2021. Specifically, VinFast has sold 2,552 Fadil cars,
711 Lux A2.0 cars and 254 Lux SA2.0 cars, reaching a total sale of 3,517 vehicles, up 23%
compared to May 2021. With this result, VinFast ended its first 6 months of business in 2021
with a total of 15,938 cars sold, including 10,127 Fadil units, 3,253 Lux A2.0 units and 2,558
Lux SA2.0.
Vinfast's operational efficiency is not only shown through its brand promotion strategies but also
through quality products. First, Vinfast has been very methodical in the product stage. Taking
advantage of advanced science from foreign factories, the company initially hires foreign experts
for a 3–5-year plan. Even the logo design and brand identity are extremely luxurious and eye-
catching, making Vinfast's care products no less than foreign brands. In order to have human
resources of good quality according to the standards of participation in the manufacturing field,
Vinfast also established a vocational school to train two main disciplines: industrial mechanical
engineering and mechatronics according to 100% German standards. This is the preparation of
human resources to serve the automotive industry.
Second, VinFast successfully uses an integrated marketing strategy, which means not using a
single tool, but using many tools at the same time to create resonance. So it has a great influence.
VinFast's activities are not performed sporadically, but in a very coherent and methodical
manner, on all fronts.
In addition to owning the world's leading closed and highly automated production cycle and the

manufacture the main components of an automobile. Specifically, VinFast is the only facility in
Vietnam that is capable of self-stamping large panels (more than 20 basic plates for each
vehicle), and has the ability to process and manufacture engines on-site, according to Vietnam's

customers are not taken care of by dealers and do not receive after-sales service as promised by
dealers when buying a car. Therefore, Vinfast has built for its business a strategy of "Old
customers are the focus" to attract customers. Specifically, each Fadil car owner is given a 3-day
2-night stay at Vinpearl worth 13 million VND. With the same vacation time, customers who
own a Lux A2.0 or SA2.0 car will receive a gift package of up to VND 26 million. It is estimated
that about 30,000 customers who own VinFast cars received gifts, with a total value of more than
600 billion VND.
It can be said that VinFast has been very successful when both honouring old customers and
evoking the desires of new customers, making them want to own VinFast cars to enjoy those
privileges. Some of the policies pioneered by VinFast, such as a 5-year warranty, free
registration fee, etc., have been followed by many foreign car companies. "Since the presence of
VinFast, customers have enjoyed more rights and respect. It is clear that VinFast is leading the
market in a new, healthier direction," said expert Le Tho Phu - a professor evaluated by the
National Economics University.
