Writing a Film Review

Fractured

The Fractured movie is a very good psychological thriller film directed by Brad Anderson from a
screenplay by Alan B. McElroy. This film is all about Ray Monroe and his wife and daughter they are going
to the thanksgiving party and when they stop at a gas station his daughter saw a dog and the dog is
barking to his daughter so she was afraid and Ray throw a stone so that the dog will go away when he
throw the stone his daughter fell down to a hole of a construction building and he quickly bring his daughter
and his wife to a nearest hospital. When they arrive at the hospital his injured daughter and his wife are
going through the emergency room and that is when his injured daughter and his wife disappear. Then Ray
is suddenly convinced that the hospital is hiding something that he does not know. 

This film fits the genre called Thriller because of the plot that has surprising twists. If you watch this
film you will become a detective in no time because of the mystery that has been made in this film. This is
truly a thriller film because of Ray Monroe’s perception of things and the ending will give goosebumps to
the audience and you will also be thrilled for sure. Ray Monroe’s acting and the production of this movie
also is good.

I commend actor Sam Worthington for his acting because he really plays his role well. Whenever he
will ask the hospital about his family that disappeared in the emergency room he is forcing the staff of the
hospital to tell him what happened to his family even though it is not his true family and he was also mad at
the hospital. All his actions are very fit in this film and through his acting the audience will go to Sam
Worthington's side, because this is a mystery you need to act carefully and don’t give the audience a clue
about the twist and I commend the actor Sam Worthington for that kind of acting. 

The film’s cinematography is very good and the angles of the camera in the hospital is also nice. 
When the scene is at the hospital the color of the film is being able to fit to the scene. The scene also
where the police arrive at the hospital is well made by the production designer. I commend the product
designer of this film and the background music also fits the scene in the hospital and also when Ray
Monroe found out that the scar of his daughter is at the hospital.

When Ray Monroe is traveling with his wife and daughter, They stop at a gas station and his wife
went to the restroom while Ray Monroe is being distracted by finding the compact mirror his daughter was
threaten by a stray dog and Ray Monroe quickly get a stone so that the dog will leave but when he throw
the stone it cause Peri to fell down to a hole and when Ray attempts to grab his daughter hand he also fell
and hits his head. He quickly checked the injuries of his daughter and went to the nearest hospital. When
they arrive at the hospital the doctors want to bring them to the emergency room and Ray falls asleep in the
waiting room. When Ray awakens he goes to the information center and asks if he can see his wife and
daughter but when the nurse checks their records they don’t have any record of his wife and daughter. The
head of Ray is being distressed by the doctor and he was restrained by the security because of his violent
actions. When he escapes he saw two police officers and he let them investigate the hospital because his
wife and daughter disappeared after going to the emergency room. When the time goes, there are some
evidence that his wife and his daughter was never admitted at the hospital and the hospital brings a
psychiatrist to check Ray but when they go to the place where the accident happened they saw a large
bloodstain and the police attempted to arrest them but Ray locked them at the gas station. He quickly goes
back to the hospital and went to the emergency room and he found his wife and his daughter. But when
Ray is travelling while carrying his wife and his daughter, the twist has been revealed and found out that
Ray killed his own family in that pit. When his daughter fell from the hole Ray also pushed her wife and the
head of his wife hit the metal. The bodies of his wife and daughter are in the trunk of Ray’s car. The
psychiatrist said that Ray is avoiding the reality of what happened to his family and the body he gets out by
the emergency is a patient that is from the surgery room.
 I highly recommend this film and my rate for this film is five out of five stars. Because the twist is
good and absolutely you will be thrilled after watching this film. It really fits the thrill genre of this film
because of the surprising twist in the end. After I watch this film I already decided that I want to watch it
again and even if I already watched it, it always thrills me because of the mystery and surprises of the story
and the production is good. I hope you will watch this and I will truly tell that you will surely be amazed by
this film.
