Give at least three (3) more positive and negative impacts of ICT in the society aside
from those mentioned in this module.

POSITIVE

 It made transaction such as purchasing and selling goods convenient. Sellers

uses technologies to promote and sell their products.

 Finding Jobs. People can now search and apply for jobs online. Also, they can now
work from their home making it more convenient for them.

 Paperless environment. Information can now be stored in a digital medium instead of

paper. Thus, cutting trees can be minimized.

NEGATIVE

 Spreading of fake information. Because of fast and wide connection there are some
who disseminate untrue and scandalous information. This cause chaos and problem to
many.

 Trolling ang scamming. Some uses the illiteracy of other people to new technologies to
take advantage of them. There are bogus buyer and seller lurking around the internet.
 Laziness of some learners. Students became over dependent on the information
they acquire on the internet without even validating first the acquired information.

2. What would you think of the world after 20 years? Briefly discuss some advancements
in technology that may happen during that time.

Technology nowadays is continuously developing. 20 years from now, there are

things that can be possible in which we thought isn’t. Due to further studies and experiments,
a flying car can be possible, like how people from the past thought airplane are far from
possible. Maybe, a cure to cancer and aids can be also discover. There’s also a chance that
cloning will be possible at that for many experts are already studying that possibility.
